As long as they continue to be great, I don't mind.

There's been a 6-film outline floating about out there since 2.

Although it would only happen for money reasons, at least the complet story arc has been throught through to make it six films with a start and an end.

They're currently playing the hard to get line. Saying "oh it's the end of the line for me" or "Well the story would have to be good" or "I'd love to do more but we'll have to see" is basically chit-chat for "Sony better hike up our pay to stupid figures".

IMHO they should be grateful for what the films did for their careers. Look at Tobey: sure, he was getting "noticed" with films like Cider House Rules, Pleasantville etc....but not a mega-star like Spider-Man made him.

And Kirsten...love her, think she's awesome, but she was also an "up and comer" like Tobey back then and certainly not a megawatt star before S1.

The Virgin Suicides (2000) is an awesome film and I think she's great in it, and Dick (with Michelle Williams) is hilarious, but how many people have actually seen it? And don't forget that Cheerleader role in Bring It On, one year before Spidey 1 I think....

IMHO it's Spidey 1 that got her that role in Eternal Sunshine (another movie I love, BTW. :) )

I still have to see Marie Antoinette....:) Looks like an interesting film, I guess it's on DVD now....?
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Ii was kind of diappointed by Spidey III. Venom is not as spectacular as I thought it would, and the story of the characters are kind of repeatiting.

The best plan IMO would be to make a TV show from Spiderman, no more movies. With TGV shows you can developp a lot more your characters and the villains.

Yeah that would be a good idea to put it in TV Kinoo.

As long as it was better than the Nicholas Hammond show.

Actually, that was HEAPS of fun for an 8 year old kid in the early 1980s. I'd LOVE to get that - or even just the three spin-off "movies" - on DVD.

There's a surprise!

Myers hasn't had a hit in ages, or been able to get anything off the ground, which is odd considering his huge franchise clout.

Still, this looks to be a few years away...he's got Shrek 3, then the Love Guru and they haven't started shooting his Keith Moon biopic (do I smell desperation for Oscar recognition?) yet, so that's Austin 4 for 2010 at the earliest...?
