Not at all, but I bet Keane is disheartened to find his bear in the backgound there, looking like a reject from the Country Bears that wants to dance!

C'mon, they don't look like Tod and Copper, circa 1981...

Currently there's two DVD Covers for this feature online at Ultimate Disney.com and Amazon.com;

The latter design feels a little like the original design [colours and character fidelity] to the already released Gold Collection DVD cover for the film's original feature:

Tod's still off though. And when did this become Scamp's Adventure?? ;)

I'm passing on this one. The animation is dressed up TV quality and the story seems so transparent it isn't even there.

Ohh they've changed it again! Though they were thinking of calling it, 'The Fox and the Dog Pound'

Glad you liked it - took a short while in Adobe to cut and paste from other covers lol! Was fun though! Plus it caused me to enjoy Oliver and Company tonight on DVD!

Christian - are you being serious?!

Walt Disney Home Entertainment proudly presents the cherished characters, star-studded voice cast and tail-wagging musical adventure of Disney's all-new The Fox And The Hound 2, the much anticipated sequel to the studio's 1981 animated treasure. Brimming with memorable songs from country music luminaries Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood, boasting a celebrity cast featuring Patrick Swayze and comedian Jeff Foxworthy, filled with Disney's renowned rich animation, and offering interactive and entertaining bonus features, The Fox And The Hound 2 premieres on Disney DVD
December 12, 2006.
Speaking for myself, I'm a huge fan of the original The Fox and the Hound. As such, I'm eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new 'midquel' The Fox and the Hound 2.

From what I've seen, the sequel looks very well drawn. The voices sound nearly identical to the originals, and I loooove the music! :P

So, is anyone exited? Anyone going to rent or buy the film? :?

As for me, I'm gonna hopefully rent it the week it comes out ;)

Btw... Here's some early 'thoughts' on the film, perhaps they'll sway some of you :P
Editorial Reviews
Bryan Erdy, NBC-TV
"A delightful, heartwarming sequel..worth the wait!"

Kyle Osborne, ABC-TV
"Both funny and moving, this long awaited sequel is a beautiful story about the power of friendship."

Sandie Newton, CBS-TV, Dallas
"The newest adventures of 'The Fox and The Hound' will delight a whole new generation with wonderful Disney magic."

Jim O'Brien, ABC-TV
"With laughs, music and fun, your family will watch 'The Fox And The Hound 2' again and again."
:D

We'll definitely be covering this at Animated Views. I'll be looking at it ASAP (my copy is on the way), so I'll let you know what I think then! I know my daughter's quite anxious to see it. :)
